Consistency Within Change

Hi everyone,

Happy Spring! I'll admit it, I don't love winter. My work at the farm is indoor/outdoor; I feel cold & dry and I miss the abundant sunshine and daylight working hours of the summer. I should probably learn to better adapt to winter, but for now....

Welcome spring!

"The only constant in life is change." Heraclitus

Everything is constantly changing-- even our universe is perpetually expanding-- and yet, as the Earth rotates on its axis, the sun rises in the east and sets in the west every day; winter turns to spring as the seasons change over and over as our planet rhythmically orbits the sun.

When we accept change as a constant and also anchor ourselves to the rhythms of our experience here on this planet, we can find more ease and happiness.

How can you find more consistency, more rhythm to your days in our ever evolving experience of life?

Yoga, meditation, and ayurveda offer tools to find this rhythm that have been invaluable to me for decades and I'm honored to share them with you.

The next Restorative Yoga in Arden is this Sunday, 3-4:30pm. Arden residents receive $5 off.

I'm super stoked to start teaching at the beautiful little studio in Rising Sun owned and operated by Adonia French Garvin: Satori Yoga. The first Restorative Yoga at Satori is Friday, April 28th, 6-7:30pm.

The next 5 week session for Thursday classes in Newark (Yoga for Stress Relief, 5:45-6:45pm & Gentle Yoga, 7-8:15pm) begins May 18th. Classes fill, please register early.

Feel free to reach out with questions, feedback, or your own musings on life and yoga. I look forward to seeing you soon!

Peace,

Rebecca

P.S. Newark students- please fill out this survey I sent last week so we can all have the best experience possible in our weekly classes!
